This website was created by Mark Wilson in Olney (England).
Originally created as a place to store some notes, the blog comments on Mark’s daily encounters with technology and aims to share some of this knowledge with fellow systems administrators and technical architects across the ‘net. Amazingly, it’s become quite popular!
The site content is created in Mark’s spare time (what little of it he has) and is entirely supported by advertising revenue and donations. If the ramblings here have helped out with a problem, perhaps you might consider providing a link to this site.
It is hosted by ascomi and uses WordPress for content management, complemented by services from a variety of third parties.
Some documents on the site may use the portable document format (PDF), for which a viewer is required. A suitable viewer is Adobe Reader, which may be downloaded free of charge from the Adobe website.
Other parts of the site may require browser plugins and players, such as the Adobe Shockwave/Flash players or a media player (e.g. Microsoft Windows Media Player or Apple QuickTime).
Wherever possible, the site has been created to conform to web standards for XHTML and CSS and it is tested using a variety of browsers including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox (Windows, Linux and Macintosh variants) and Apple Safari; however, if something is not working as it should, please let Mark know. Your assistance will benefit the other one or two people who visit this site ;-) .
